MW2 Season 3 has notoriously been filled with numerous bugs since its release and the recently introduced Trophy Hunt was initially no different. Based on previous player reports, there had been an exploit within the event’s reward system that allowed you to earn hundreds of battle pass tokens without having to grind for them.

However, it seems that Infinity Ward and Raven Software have sneakily released a patch that addressed this particular glitch in addition to the scoreboard bug that had been making the rounds in the past few days. Unfortunately, the broken report system remains unresolved to this day as it continues to make its presence felt in the game.

Based on several recent Reddit posts, it seems as if most people are no longer experiencing the annoying KDA display issue that had been plaguing most match servers. One user even shared their experience, saying that they were “just in a lobby with multiple 600s and the scoreboard worked.” However, they did notice that their icons had been changed to a white box instead, which indicates that this may have been the culprit for the annoying bug.

The unannounced hefty update that was released today may have contained the fix that numerous fans have been waiting for. Alas, the patch also seemingly addressed the useful battle pass token exploit so those that want to hoard more of them for future seasons will no longer be able to do so.

It’s currently unclear, though, what the other contents of the update was as Activision and the developers are yet to provide a list of the patch notes. Based on this quick reaction, however, it seems that the developers are indeed listening to their frustrated fan base so the mountains of complaints from different players may actually be working.
