MW2 players have been experiencing a prevalent scoreboard bug recently and numerous fans have said that the malfunction is being caused by level 600+ users. The glitch in question prevents the entire lobby from accessing the KDA display, meaning those affected by it won’t be able to see their current stats even after the match has finished.
With the current list of bugs almost being impossible to fix, this latest issue is just another example of the game’s perpetually flawed state. For this reason, a large number of CoD players have now taken to Reddit to bring more attention to the problem at hand since the developers are unlikely to provide a fix any time soon.
According to a recent post, one user has reportedly been getting their loadout screen instead of the scoreboard whenever they try to pull it up on the PS5. Apparently, the same instance occurs after “the final killcam” as they’ve continuously been experiencing constant stuttering instead of the typical KDA display.
The post creator would then go on to note that their rank badge after reaching level 620 “has also reset to the default in the lobby.” Those replying under the same thread have pointed to this fact as the main culprit for the poster’s ongoing dilemma. One commenter even noted that since they are that player with a level higher than 600, they’ll be “screwed” until the developers push a fix.
Unfortunately, with the CoD user base being as large as it is, this isn’t the only instance of a malfunctioning scoreboard as a handful of other MW2 players have reported the same issue. Hopefully, Infinity Ward and Raven Software can issue a resolution soon as this prevalent problem may just cause many within its loyal community to abandon the game entirely.
