A MW2 night vision MP map will apparently be one of the features that’ll be reintroduced with the third season of the latest CoD installment. The jaded player base has long been asking for this particular game mode’s return and it seems that they’ll finally be getting their wish once the next in-game update rolls around.

With Season 3 already set to add a 6v6 map and a continuation of Alejandro and El Sin Nombre’s campaign story, this may just be the cherry on top for the disillusioned community. However, it’s still currently unclear which map the developers have decided to give the nighttime treatment. But no matter what location it’s going to be, it will surely become a favored offering within the player base immediately.

The popularity of these night vision game modes is even more apparent on Reddit where a large number of players have taken to in order to ask for its inclusion once again. A recent user-created post begging for NVG mode to be brought back is one such example of this match offering’s adored status within the CoD community.

One commenter in particular said that they “loved this mode,” and that it was made even better “when they would add Realism to the mix.” Another user, on the other hand, is asking for this match offering to be added to Infected, as it makes the party game mode more fun and gives it a different aura compared to the regular day time option.

It remains to be seen whether or not Infinity Ward plan on adding night vision mode to more match types in the future. But now that the promise of its return has been revealed, players can’t help but rejoice in the fact that many of the beloved features from past installments are finally making a return to MW2.
