An enterprising Call of Duty fan has recreated one of Modern Warfare 2’s fan-favourite maps in Lego, much to the delight of the shooter’s community.

Benj Builds posted their creation on the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit, creating a faithful recreation of the Shipment map, individually creating each shipping container using the toy bricks as well as plenty of other components that make up the map, right down to the banana boxes. They also posted a video of their creation process over on their YouTube channel, showing everything that went into the build itself and how they modelled their build on the version from the most recent entry in the series.

The subreddit were impressed with Benj’s creation, praising the attention to detail on the build. “My man even built the mounted gun skin challengers,” said LegSecure. “I want to see inside the crates, haha!” adds El_Marachi_Vive, “This is very cool dude, well done.” Meanwhile Arhiman666 added “9/10 – if you put a guy with a shield in his back, I’ll raise it to 10/10.”

Many users said that the creation has inspired them to potentially create their own brick-based tributes of maps from the shooter, such as Toastinette who says “I want to build maps with lego now.” There’s even some members calling for an official Lego Call of Duty set, with SumoSizeIt asking “Does Lego license their IP for shooter games? I mean, outside of stormtroopers. I would love a Lego edition CoD, campaign and all.”

Shipment was an excellent choice for this build, as the map is regularly quite high on the rotation of many players, despite Infinity Ward regularly adding and removing the map seemingly on a whim. Recently, Warzone got a new map in the shape of Vondel in its most recent update. For more on that, check our Warzone Vodel map size and locations guide.
