The MW2 community is becoming tired of the same old maps that are currently available in the game. Although most of the locations that can be found in the current CoD installment are new, players aren’t all that fond of them because of their poor design.

This has forced the disillusioned player base to start wishing for the return of classic locations, such as the Skidrow map from 2009’s Modern Warfare 2. Based on a real life neighborhood in Los Angeles, this particular map featured plenty of alleyways and open spaces that allowed both close-quarters and long-range combat. It also had an incredibly unique design as it was one of the only locations that wasn’t situated in the typical Middle East and Eastern European regions.

As usual, players have taken to Reddit to spotlight this specific map in an effort to have it included in MW2. One popular user post centering around Skidrow has made it fully evident that its reintroduction to the game would be welcomed with open arms.

Player responses under the same thread all seem to be unanimously praising its layout and are similarly pleading for its return. Some users have stated that even though it wasn’t their cup of tea when it was first released, its arrival would still be better than having to suffer through more of the same maps.

Hopefully, Infinity Ward and Raven Software listen to the requests of the community this time as the game’s lack of content has certainly prevented players from fully enjoying the game. Unfortunately, the recent behavior of the developers doesn’t leave players with much hope as it may just be the same old song and dance again.
