If you love the MotionPlus controls offered in The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword and were worried that future games in the series would drop that control style, worry no more. Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma has confirmed that motion controls will be returning to Zelda games in the future.
“I honestly think we cannot go back to button controls now, so I think that these controls will be used in future Zelda titles, too,” he told Official Nintendo Magazine.
This is good news considering the MotionPlus controls in Skyward Sword are one of the reasons the game scored an impressive 10/10 in our Skyward Sword review. How motion controls work with the first Zelda game for Wii U remains to be seen.
