Capcom has announced a free high resolution texture pack for the PC version of Monster Hunter World.

The pack arrives on April 4 alongside a new title update for the critically acclaimed beast hunting actioner, and providing your PC the horsepower, allows you to give Capcom's title a serious boost in the visual department. Not that it didn't already look stunning to begin with, mind.

In addition to adding the option for high resolution textures, the new update includes a bunch of other content, such as a 'Friends Can Join' option to Private Session Settings, a new mouse control type, and numerous bug fixes.

There's also a TAA+FXAA option in the Advanced Graphics settings for Anti-Aliasing, too.

Monster Hunter World came out on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One in January 2018, and arrived on PC later in the year. It's Capcom's best-selling game of all time, so it's fair to say it's done rather well.

Oh, and there's also a movie adaptation in the works, but it'll probably be a load of bollocks.
