Capcom has been a key third-party publisher in the Sony State of Play events, often using the platform to announce its latest titles from Resident Evil, Street Fighter, and Monster Hunter. During the May 2024 State of Play event, Capcom revealed more information regarding the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds.

During the State of Play event, Capcom revealed the first trailer for Monster Hunter Wilds, the next mainline entry in the series following 2021’s Monster Hunter Rise. The trailer gave players a look at the gameplay including various monsters. It looks more of the same compared to other entries in the series, but that isn’t a bad thing as it looks like it will deliver what fans have come to expect.

Players who have previously played Monster Hunter World and Monster Hunter World Iceborne will receive exclusive armor.
