Capcom has confirmed that Monster Hunter Freedom Unite, the PSP’s third instalment of the Monster Hunter series, will be released in Europe this summer.

This latest instalment promises to deliver over 500 hours of gameplay spanning some 400 missions. The biggest Monster Hunter game to date features previously unreleased monsters, weapons and missions, plus a four-player Ad-Hoc cooperative multiplayer experience.

In preparation of the game’s arrival, Capcom has released a new trailer which delves into the background of the multi-million selling Japanese gaming phenomenon and takes a look at how gamers in the West are preparing themselves.
