Rewards are a huge part of any game. Whether it’s hitting max rank or completing a series of difficult challenges, players expect something for the time and effort they put into any live-service game nowadays. Modern Warfare 2 is no different, and fans are disappointed at the latest weapon blueprint they’re rewarded with when reaching level 850.

The Modern Warfare 2 Reddit page has been heavily debating the worth of the ‘Judicious’ blueprint players unlock upon reaching level 850 in the game. The blueprint, which becomes available for the Lachmann-556, has players disappointed as while the blueprint is for a weapon a lot of people use, one player described the blueprint as something more fitting of a “level 2 reward.”

Others are even so disappointed in the blueprint that they believe the term “reward” is being used “very loosely here.” Others have mocked the weapon’s bland camo design with one player saying, it’s “just a two-tone of two single colour camos.” Some players have also become increasingly frustrated that in-game purchases seem to get more love than max-rank weapon blueprints, with one player focusing on Modern Warfare 2’s recent addition of the BlackCell Pass. User Old_Interaction_1713 noted that they reached max-rank in every other season, but have not felt the urge to continue that grind in Season 4. They said, “I hit level cap every season, even in beta but this season I haven’t even reached 700, my motivation towards the game is straight up gone.”

While a lot of players are disappointed by the reward some are simply saying it’s better than nothing. One player said, “I appreciate getting some sort of reward for completing things. Please keep doing this… It’s better than nothing at all.”

In other Call of Duty news, Warzone players are fed up with Activision’s aggressive Blackcell push and the next Call of Duty entry looks likely to release later this year according to a… Federal Judge.
