Modern Warfare 2 has often given its players a wide array of unique skins to choose from throughout its relatively short life span. But it seems that a few fans aren’t quite satisfied with the cosmetics that are currently on offer as some are now asking Activision and the game’s developers for a trendy Barbie collaboration.

Though MW2’s recently released The Boys crossover had already given the community a recent injection of pop media, it appears fans want something a little more pink to decorate the camo-colored layout of the latest CoD entry. And with the highly anticipated live action film set to grace theaters worldwide soon, some players have now taken to Reddit to call for the addition of a Barbie-themed operator skin.

One user named Goddessmushu even created a post telling the developers to give the community “a Barbie operator collab,” after which they attached an image of the popular children’s figure holding a rocket launcher. Many of the comments below the thread echoed the post creator’s sentiment as drcubeftw said: “At this point. F*ck it. Why not? They’ve gone off the deep end with all sorts of dumb sh*t in this game.”

A few responders, on the other hand, are hoping for Modern Warfare 2’s own version of a Barbenheimer double feature with rtissens asking for an “Oppenheimer bundle with a nuke finisher.” However, some users, like throwitinthetrash90, did point out that there will technically be a Barbie collaboration coming soon in the form of the Nicki Minaj crossover as the Trinidadian-born rapper has often referenced the fashion doll in many of her songs.

Unfortunately, the hardcore portion of the Modern Warfare 2 fan base may not be as open-minded to a Barbie operator bundle being introduced to the game as Activision’s FPS series has often been synonymous with testosterone and trash-talking. But with that said, stranger things have been introduced to the world of CoD in the past so a partnership between these two pop culture franchises may not be all that impossible.
