A Modern Warfare 2 fan has created several weapon loadouts that look strikingly similar to their real-life counterparts. From the classic M4A1 assault rifle to the deadly Remington MSR sniper rifle, a dedicated CoD player has made each one look like it came straight out of a military encampment.
Alas, the builds they shared don’t include the best Modern Warfare 2 Cronen Squall loadout or the best Modern Warfare 2 FJX Imperium loadout as these unique loadouts seemingly weren’t made with in-game performance in mind. That said, their meticulous and aesthetically pleasing designs are still a treat to look at, especially since they can immerse you even more into the game’s war-torn environment.
The brilliant collection of realistic loadouts, which was shared through the Modern Warfare 2 subreddit, were made and compiled by a Redditor named u/Articulate-Dirtbag. Aside from the previously mentioned M4A1 and Remington MSR, the gallery they provided also includes highly accurate depictions of other popular firearms like the M16A4, the AK74M, and many more. Their initial thread has since gone on to become relatively popular with many commenters praising each weapon’s design.
The same user would then share another post containing more images of their real-life inspired loadouts, which subsequently became highly commended within the community as well. Based on some of the other player responses made below both posts, it seems as if the author isn’t the only one who had this idea in mind as some have said that they “named everything after their proper counterparts” and that they “build more for aesthetic than effectiveness.”
