Xbox One has seen its price slashed in China, just weeks after the console made history by launching in the territory.

Sina.com reports that both the Xbox One with Kinect and Xbox One without Kinect can now be found 500 RMB ($80) cheaper. The Kinect model has fallen from 4,299 RMB to 3,799 RMB, whilst the Kinect-less model drops from 3,699 RMB to 3,199 RMB. A Day One edition remains on sale at 4,299 RMB.

Even with the price cuts Xbox One will be more expensive than PS4, which is due to launch in China on January 11 for2,899 RMB.

It’s reported that Xbox One sold 100,000 units in China during its first few weeks on sale, but sales are said to have slowed since.
