Asobo Studio has announced that the latest World Update VI has arrived in Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox Series X|S and PC.

There’s a distinctly European flavour to the latest update, focusing on Germany, Austria and Switzerland. You can expect new aerial imagery, high resolution elevation maps and 3D cities. Some of the locations given a sprucing up include Frankfurt, Basel and Vienna.

The update also includes over 100 new famous locations for you to take a flight around. There’s also several new discovery flights, landing challenges and bush trips. There’s also plenty of new airports for you to land at. You can find the update available for free right now in the game’s Marketplace.

Earlier this week, it was confirmed that the game’s upcoming Top Gun: Maverick expansion has been delayed to fall in line with the movie. On the positive side, it will be getting a Reno Air Race multiplayer expansion this Fall.

As ever, you can check out the full patch notes for the update over on the game’s official website. World Update VI is available now in Microsoft Flight Simulator on Xbox Series X|S and PC. Check out a trailer for the new update for yourself down below.
