Konami has stealthily released a new Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain update after nearly a year, adding scantily-clad sniper Quiet as a playable character for FOB events.

Given that Quiet breathes through her skin you're unable to alter her head options or uniform, although she more than makes up for her lack of sartorial options by being an excellent sniper. She's also extremely nippy and can jump pretty high, too.

In addition to Quiet, Metal Gear Solid 5's latest update adds a new difficulty level to FOB events, which gives you the chance to earn extra points, as well as new development items such as the Dark Matter Generator and Energy Wall.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain was released on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 3, PC, Xbox One, and Xbox 360 in September 2015. The game was notably Hideo Kojima's last project with Konami before he left to establish his own independent branch of Kojima Productions.

We thought Kojima-san's open-world stealth epic was a fitting swansong for its creator and the series alike, so definitely pony up the cash for a copy if you haven't already done so.
