Crystal Dynamics has announced that players of its superhero brawler Marvel’s Avengers will get to enjoy some Holiday bonuses from today.
Between now and December 27, players will be able to claim quadruple XP and 2x the normal resources. This should help them level up their heroes nice and quickly for the duration of the event. Meanwhile, the Cosmic Threat event has also returned, allowing heroes to obtain unique Cosmic gear pieces until January 6.
They’re not the only new additions either. From today, players can head to the game’s Marketplace and pick up a new costume for Clint Barton’s Hawkeye. The outfit is, as you probably guessed, based on the character’s appearance in his recent Disney Plus series which wrapped up this week. Curiously, there doesn’t seem to be a similar costume for Kate Bishop. This is despite her appearing in the series and inclusion in the game as free DLC. But still, fun for fans of one of the superhero team’s two best archers anyway.
It’s been a bit of a busy year for Marvel’s Avengers, with the game finally launching its PlayStation exclusive Spider-Man character just last month. Marvel’s Avengers is available now on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4 and PC.
