Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite has joined the ranks of Microsoft’s Play Anywhere program, as well as receiving a pretty heft price drop to boot.

The latter might have something to do with the fact Infinite didn’t exactly set tills alight, with fans less than pleased with the direction of the crossover fighting game. The news also comes not long after it was confirmed the game would not be part of this year’s EVO lineup.

Still, if you fancy picking up Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite on the cheap, you can grab it for $39.99 from the Microsoft Store. Play Anywhere is a handy initiative, allowing you to share save files and data between the Xbox One and Windows PC version of a title regardless of what platform you purchase it for.

Alice didn’t think Marvel vs. Capcom: Infinite was all that bad, but it still wasn’t a match for its predecessors all the same.Â
