The lineup for this year’s Evolution Championship Series, better known as EVO, has officially been confirmed, and there’s one glaring (if admittedly unsurprising) omission: Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite.

This would have been pretty major news just a few years ago, with Capcom’s crossover fighting series being something of a staple of Evo tournaments. However, due to a increased competition in the genre event chiefs have decided to eschew the title from the 2018 lineup.

Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite isn’t the only notable omission however. The King of Fighters XIV also didn’t make the cut, and this is a title that’s maintained a popular fan base and is still receiving post-launch support from its developer.

The full lineup includes Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Xrd: Rev 2, Injustice 2, Dragon Ball FighterZ, Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Mash Bros Melee, and BlazBlue Cross Tag Battle.

EVO 2018 will take place in Las Vegas from August 3-5.Â
