Madden 23: Weekly Wildcards – Week 2

The Weekly Wildcards Program kicked off with a bang last Tuesday, presenting fans a fresh new set of excellent cards they can acquire for their Madden 23 Ultimate Team (MUT) lineups. Well, this week was no different, as MUT has returned with yet another star-studded collection of NFL players fans will want to get their hands on.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Madden 23 Weekly Wildcards Program, this neat postseason edition is a fun one, highlighting the various forms of experience, seasonal performances, and degrees of strength that were reflected over the course of the 2022 NFL season.

The second reveal of the Weekly Wildcards Program took place today on Good Morning Madden at 10:30AM ET / 3:30PM GMT. With over 15 new Weekly Wildcard players revealed on the show, there’s plenty to be had from the Week 2 drop.

Madden 23 Ultimate Team released the new Weekly Wildcards players just minutes after the show’s conclusion, so fans can already pursue the new players they want for their squads right now. So without further ado, here’s all the new players and challenges from the Week 2 Weekly Wildcards Program drop in MUT.

Madden 23: Weekly Wildcards Week 2 Players

The Weekly Wildcards Program comes with four different types of players. Each of these types represent a certain category of player card you can secure in Madden 23. Here’s the four types:

• Heavyweight – A player who possess immense strength and fortitude for their position
• Rising Star – A promising young talent in the NFL that had a special 2022 season
• Standout – A player who had a standout performance over the 2022 season
• Veteran – A player who is a veteran to the game of football and the NFL

All overall rating sets of the Weekly Wildcards releases, consist of a total of four players, one from each type and all of whom were active in the NFL over the 2022 regular season. Along with the new players from the second Weekly Wildcards release comes also a Limited Edition (LTD) player, one for every drop.

4. Eli Apple (CB) – Bengals – Veteran

High Elites (90 Overall)

1. Jermaine Eluemunor (RT) – Raiders – Heavyweight

Low Elites (87 Overall)

Madden 23: Weekly Wildcards Challenges

Along with the Weekly Wildcards Program comes a set of challenges that offers fans a chance to unlock 87+ Overall Account Bound (BND) Weekly Wildcards Fantasy Packs.

The second round of challenges (Week 2) contains a total of 16 stars you can earn, a maximum of four from each Weekly Wildcard Week 2 Champion. Completing each challenge from every Champion for their max four stars, will allow you to unlock the Week 2 87+ Overall BND Weekly Wildcards Fantasy Pack.
