This reality was already reflected in Week 14 and several NFL players rose to the occasion with some remarkable performances. But of all the qualifiers, who made the latest Madden 23 TOTW?

Today at 10:30AM ET / 3:30PM GMT on ‘Good Morning Madden’, Madden 23 revealed its new Week 14 TOTW. The in-game release is always targeted for 4PM ET / 9PM GMT but has gone live at 2PM ET / 7PM GMT of late – so be sure to keep your eyes peeled for the announcement on MUT’s Twitter page.

Without another moment to spare, let’s get right to it.

The Madden 23 Offensive Player of the Week is Los Angeles Rams quarterback, Baker Mayfield. Last Thursday night, Baker Mayfield made his debut for the Rams and delivered one of the biggest comebacks of the season.

The Rams were down as much as 13 points in the fourth quarter and managed to string together two touchdown drives to score 14 unanswered points. After they made it a six point game following a Cam Akers touchdown, Mayfield drove 98 yards down the field with the Rams offense and capped it off with a 23-yard touchdown strike to wide receiver Van Jefferson with 15 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Mayfield finished the day with 230 passing yards and one touchdown and completed 62.9% of his passes. Along with the fact that he didn’t commit any turnovers, its the winning touchdown drive alone that landed Mayfield this Offensive Player of the Week honor in Madden 23.

Defensive Player Of The Week (95 Overall)

The Madden 23 Defensive Player of the Week is Kansas City Chiefs linebacker, Willie Gay. The Chiefs endured quite the nail-biter against the Denver Broncos, and if it wasn’t for their defensive play, could have lost the game.

This was highlighted by the big time performance from Gay who had himself quite the game in the Chiefs 34-28 victory, coming away with five combined tackles, a pick six he took 47-yards to the house in the second quarter, and a pass defended. Gay’s clutch performance earned him the Defensive Player of the Week honors and understandably so.

Limited Editions (95 Overall)

Dating back to the Week 7 TOTW release, Madden 23 has included two Limited Edition (LTD) players fans can secure, one offensive and one defensive. These LTDs are always active NFL players that produced special performances in previous seasons on the same game week that Madden 23 is honoring.

Here’s the two LTDs that were selected for the Week 14 TOTW:

1. Zach Ertz (TE) â€“ Eagles

In the Philadelphia Eagles Week 14 win against the New York Giants in 2019, Ertz had a big game, catching 9 of his 13 targets for 91 yards and two touchdowns. As a result of this special performance, Madden 23 selected Ertz be their offensive player Week 14 TOTW LTD. In addition, Ertz is also now the fastest tight end in MUT.

2. Rasul Douglas (CB) â€“ Packers

In the Green Bay Packers Week 14 win over the Chicago Bears in 2021, cornerback Rasul Douglas had two combined tackles, two passes defended, and a pick six that he returned for 55 yards. The Packers star corner had himself a huge game and Madden 23 felt it was only fair to recognize Douglas as their second Week 14 defensive player LTD.
