Little Nightmares, that 3D platformer you’ve almost definitely seen buzz about — you know, the one with a tiny girl in a yellow mac being chased by a giant chef with a cleaver — is getting a tie-in comic book from Titan Comics.

The comic will run for four issues, so is a mini-series, and will tie in with the game. According to Bandai Namco the comic ‘delightfully connects’ to the game, but may or may not follow the aforementioned yellow mac girl, whose name is Six, for the whole run. She’s certainly present in the first issue, though, based on the art examples:

Titan do the comics for a bunch of video game franchises, including Bandai Namco’s Dark Souls and a run based on Ubisoft’s Assassin’s Creed series — in fact the writers behind Little Nightmares #1  have worked on Assassin’s Creed: Uprising.

We can’t honestly say we’ve read it so that may or may not be a sign of quality, but based on what’s been seen of Little Nightmares so far it’s not a leap to imagine that the comic will be similarly weird and a bit goth. There’s a relatively new gameplay video inserted below to back that up.

The age of multimedia tie-ins marches ever on. The Little Nightmares mini-series is available to preorder now. It will be out at the same the the actual game releases, which is April 28 on PS4, Xbox One and PC.
