Square Enix has announced that Life is Strange: True Colors will finally arrive on Nintendo Switch digitally from December 7.

This version of the game had intended to release with the other formats back in September. However, it was delayed a few weeks out as it was “running a little late.” It’ll be the first time the series has appeared on Nintendo’s Switch in any form.

In case you’re not up to speed, the game follows new protagonist Alex Chen. She moves to the town of Haven Springs following a mysterious incident to reunite with her brother. Alas, it’s not the end of her troubles and a family tragedy throws her life into chaos. Using her psychic power of super-empathy, she’ll have to uncover hidden truths and secrets.

Josh reviewed the game back on its original release. He said: “True Colors is the best game in the series since Before the Storm, and it will satisfy your narrative craving for a time. ” It also very recently took home the Best Storytelling Award at this year’s Golden Joysticks last night.

Life is Strange: True Colors lands on Nintendo Switch digitally on December 7 via the Nintendo eShop. It’ll then get a physical release on February 25, 2022.
