Developer Deck Nine has announced that it will be delaying the launch of the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection into early next year.

A tweet from the game’s official account broke the news to fans. It said “due to the ongoing challenges of the worldwide pandemic, we want to alleviate any additional pressure on the Life is Strange team by giving more time between the release of Life is Strange: True Colors and the Life is Strange: Remastered Collection.”

However, there was some better news in the announcement. The studio confirmed that it will also be releasing a DLC for True Colors entitled Life is Strange: Wavelengths. This new chapter will star Steph Gingrich from Life is Strange: Before the Storm and the new game, and will launch on September 30, just a few weeks after True Colors. The team promise a first look at the new content in a trailer later today.

The Life is Strange: Remastered Collection includes spruced-up versions of both the original game and prequel Life is Strange: Before the Storm. It’ll be available on its own, or purchasers of the Ultimate Edition of Life is Strange: True Colors can grab it for no additional cost.

For now, Life is Strange: Remastered Collection launches on Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, PC and Google Stadia in Early 2022. We’ll bring you that Life is Strange: Wavelengths trailer once it drops.
