- The Life is Strange: Double Exposure release date is set for October 29, 2024.
Max Caulfield, the original LiS protagonist, is back in the studio’s latest game in the series. During the Xbox Game Showcase, we were treated to the Life is Strange: Double Exposure release date reveal, along with a significant look at gameplay. This entry of Life is Strange is technically a sequel to the first game, following the story of Max Caulfield once again.
When is the Life is Strange Double Exposure release date?
The Life is Strange Double Exposure release date is Tuesday, 29 October 2024. Square Enix has confirmed this launch date as part of the game’s reveal trailer, which aired in June. If you buy a specific version of the game, you can play it a whole two weeks early.
Life is Strange Double Exposure story
Max Caulfield, now older and perhaps wiser from the first game, is a photographer at the prestigious Caledon University. One day, she finds her friend, Safi, dead. Max tries to use her power to rewind time to save her friend, but in doing so opens up a path to a parallel timeline where Safi is alive. Using this new power, Max sets out to save Safi in both versions of reality, all the while trying to figure out who killed her.
Life is Strange Double Exposure is a single-player murder mystery game. If it’s anything like the previous LiS games, we will control Max through set small areas, exploring for clues and talking to people to learn as much as we can. Dialogue options have played a crucial part in the Life is Strange games, and we expect this to continue if the extended gameplay trailer is anything to go by.
Life is Strange: Double Exposure will be released on October 29, 2024, on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
