LEGO Fortnite received a massive update today! This is the first update the game has received since its release, and it’s safe to say that Epic Games has done a great job. The update brought a few new items, balance changes, new features, and much more.

LEGO Fortnite update today and everything that changed

Here are patch notes for the LEGO Fortnite update today:

  • Launch Pad added
  • Many outfits received LEGO Fortnite styles
  • Placing builds now removes smaller obstacles, like rocks and plants
  • New building parts have been added
  • Snap Mode has been improved
  • Chests now have better loot, especially ones from fighting enemies and solving puzzles
  • Villagers can now be removed with the Remove Villager option in the Village Square
  • Blasters can now be found in the desert
  • Brutes can now spawn in caves
  • You can get rid of unwanted items by throwing them in a Campfire
  • You can now eat while moving
  • You’ll no longer pick up tools automatically
  • Crossbows now shoot slightly slower and have a more natural arc
  • It is now possible to ping locations in the world
  • Villagers can now open doors on your structures
  • Depositing items in Chests will stack them together
  • Rams’ health was buffed
  • Thrusters, Switches, Wheels, and Ballons now give resources back when destroyed
  • Fried Eggs take less time to consume
  • Fried Egg recipe and effect adjusted
    • Reduced number of eggs required from 2 to 1
    • Reduced fullness gained from 8 to 5
    • Reduced hearts gained from 5 to 4
  • Eating food with lower stamina regeneration no longer overrides stamina regen gain from higher-quality food
  • You’ll no longer spawn on top of the cave after exiting the game inside one
  • Boulders no longer change locations when you enter the world
  • Attacks will hit enemies more consistently
  • Sheep, chickens, and cows will no longer walk over fences
  • Numerous bug fixes
    • Villagers will now smelt metal
    • Destroyed Crafting Stations will no longer appear in the world
    • Fixed the bug that prevented you from jumping after spawning
    • Fixed the bug that spawned you under buildings
    • Fixed the issue where players spawned far from each other
    • Fixed the sprinting issue
    • Improved stability to avoid crashes
  • Large buildings are now more stables and less likely to fall apart
  • Dynamic Foundations will no longer be out of sync for other players
  • Many other physics improvement
