In just its second week of operation, the beloved LEGO Fortnite mode is already getting a game-changing update that will make collecting resources and venturing through the dangerously blocky map slightly easier. And did we mention you’ll also be getting even more increased durability for specific tools and weapons?

Following the release of the equally popular LEGO Fortnite durability update, this latest patch is sure to make the Minecraft-inspired open-world mode even more of a hit with the fan base. Of course, if you want to find out exactly what’s changed, we’ve covered all you need to know below.

Latest LEGO Fortnite update increases Grappler use and decreases Critter health

According to a brief changelog provided by the official LEGO Fortnite account, the development team has “nerfed [the] Brute’s poison attack and the Frost Scorpion’s explosion,” so these two enemies should now deal less damage when you encounter them out in the wild. In addition, Critters now also have less health, Spiders under rocks are rarer and more difficult to find, and petting Rams now drop Heavy Wool.

However, arguably the biggest change Epic has introduced with this update is an increase in the amount of times you can use Grapplers. Previously, you could only swing through the map 10 times before the handy piece of equipment broke. But following the patch, you will now be able to use it 30 times, so you won’t have to craft as many just to traverse the sprawling LEGO Fortnite map.

Lastly, Epic Games has also increased the durability of Rare and Epic tools and weapons by 60%. In the previous update, the developers had only buffed these items by 30%, which means you should now be able to use your swords, shields, bows, and whatever else you have in your inventory for even longer.

With several updates now in LEGO Fortnite, you can expect more to arrive shortly as the developers steadily improve upon the hit open-world mode with the help of the community’s suggestions.
