According to a hands-on report on Geek.com, Square Enix's Kingdom Hearts 3 will offer 40-50 hours for its main campaign, but players can expect to squeeze a heap more out of the game if they want to see everything on offer.

Counting all the side activities and mini-games, Kingdom Hearts 3 will offer upwards of 80 hours, which is pretty much part and parcel for any major Square Enix RPG these days.

Geek.com's preview also reveals that the Disney-RPG sequel will feature a Ratatouille-based cooking game, plus 20 side scrolling titles based on classic Mickey Mouse cartoons featuring old-school Game & Watch visuals.

Kingdom Hearts 3 is due out for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on January 29, 2019. In case you missed it, check out this video celebrating Mickey Mouse's 90th birthday.

Those of you hoping for characters from Star Wars and the Avengers to pop up in the upcoming sequel had better dial down those expectations.
