Is Wednesday Addams a witch?

It’s a fair question and one that Netflix fans and viewers across the world have been wondering after the debut of Netflix’s big budget supernatural horror comedy series starring rising actress, Jenna Ortega (X, Scream, American Carnage) as Wednesday alongside Luis Guzmán (The Count of Monte Cristo, Code Black, Godfather of Harlem) and Catherine Zeta-Jones (Entrapment, Chicago, Prodigal Son).

As the series features Wednesday attending the “Nevermore Academy” for supernatural children with many of the schools students moving in social circles defined by their supernatural nature such as werewolf, gorgon, or siren.

So, with so many different magical and supernatural races attending Nevermore, many viewers have been wondering if Wednesday Addams is a witch?

Discussing if Wednesday Addams is a witch in Netflix’s Wednesday

The short answer to this question is no. As, at least from what we’ve seen so far in the show’s first season, there is no indication that Wednesday Addams is a witch.

However, she does have at least one, seemingly inherited, supernatural ability that I won’t reveal here as it’s such an important part of the show’s story, and presumably of future stories for Wednesday should it get more seasons from Netflix.
