With the pre-release phase set to last for almost half a year, PC players have begun wondering what platforms the game is going to be available on. Those that prefer playing through the Epic Games program in particular are curious about its inclusion on the app.

Will Sons of the Forest be on Epic Games?
Unfortunately, Sons of the Forest will not be playable through Epic Games as it is currently only available through Steam. It will similarly not be released on any other consoles, so those looking to play it will need to do so by using Valve’s platform.

However, it could still eventually be introduced to the Epic Games platform at some point in the future. It most likely hasn’t been included within the well-known Fortnite developer’s ecosystem since the game is still in its early stages and hasn’t been fully released yet.
According to a blog post from Endnight Games, they still plan on adding more features to Sons of the Forest throughout the duration of its early access period. This includes new items, mechanics, gameplay balance, and more so porting it to other systems is probably low on their priority list at the moment.
Be that as it may, the intrigue surrounding the game and its increasing popularity may work in its favor once we get closer to its actual release date. After all, its multiplayer features make it a perfect title for cooperative play through multiple platforms.
