The Warzone 2 is here – it’s real, and if you follow our guide, you’ll know exactly how to launch it.
Just like in Modern warfare 2, the Tactical Nuke can be used to wipe out everybody on the map. Be warned, launching the nuke is an incredibly complicated process… plus it is very, very difficult.

How to get a nuke in Warzone 2
To get the Nuke in Warzone 2 , you’re going to need to follow a number of key steps. This isn’t just like in Modern Warfare 2 when you’ll need a 25-kill streak. In Warzone 2, there are a number of steps which we detail below.
- Step 1: Win 5 Warzone 2 Battle Royale in a row
This is the first challenge. You’ll need to win five games in a row – which is incredibly tough. Make sure you’re armed to the teeth with the perfect loadout – we have some suggestions for best Warzone 2 loadouts right here.
Should you manage to pull off five wins in a row, you’ll see a pop up message that reads ‘Champions Quest Available’. This will point you in the direction of a golden Warzone logo on your Tac Map where a contract will await.
- Step 2: Head over the Champion’s Quest contract
Head to that spot by following your Tac Map and activate the Champion’s Quest contract. This is when it gets difficult. Before doing this. Try to stock up on armor, ammo and anything else that will give you a tactical advantage.
We advise stocking up on:
- Armor plates
- Heartbeat sensor
- Killstreaks: UAV or ideally a Precision AirstrikeÂ
- Preferably have an RPG in your loadout
- As much ammo as you can find
- A self revive
- Do not carry any cash with you – spend it all and load up on as much stuff as you can, including Killstreaks

- Step 3: Find and collet three nuclear elements
Once you have activated the Champions Quest contract – you’ll then need to follow your map marker and obtain 3 nuclear elements.
While you are transporting these elements, everyone on the map will see you as you’ll be marked by a large golden crown. You’re a walking target, so act as fast as you can as everybody on the map will be converging on your location.
Step 4: The bomb site will appear on your map
If you have collected all of the elements, the bomb site will appear on your map. You’ll then need to sprint over there as it’s likely all players on the map will be heading to your location.
Step 5: Deposit the nuclear elements and arm the nuke
Take the nuclear elements to the bomb site and deposit them. If you have made it this far, you’re going to ensure you have plenty of ammo for the last stage.
Step 6: Defend the Warzone 2 nuke for two minutes.
By that time, if you have miraculously managed to pull off all of the above, you’ll need to defend the site for two minutes from a barrage of players who have converged on your location. When the nuke detonates, everybody will be killed awarding you a Champion’s Domination Warzone Victory.
