Homefront is to receive another pack of DLC, with the Xbox 360 set to get the budget-priced map pack first. Included in the 400 Microsoft Points download are two maps for Ground Control and two for Team Deathmatch.
Ground Control Maps
- Alcatraz – America’s most infamous prison becomes the site of fierce close-quarters fighting.
- Bridge – A combined arms effort to secure the North Tower of the Golden Gate Bridge and surrounding area, large-scale warfare at its best!
Team Deathmatch Maps
- Waterway – Wage war atop storefronts and in the streets of the Spillway, where every inch feels like a mile.
- Overpass – Battle in a fan-favourite Ground Control space for the first time in Team Deathmatch!
PlayStation 3 and PC gamers will be able to download the new DLC at some point in the future.
As anyone who played Rainbow Six 3 on the original Xbox knows, maps based on Alcatraz are brilliant as you can pretend you’re in the Nicholas Cage film, The Rock. Alcatraz’s addition to Homefront can only make it a better game.
