The Helldivers 2 player count has skyrocketed following the release on Xbox consoles, and Arrowhead getting into bed with Microsoft was accompanied by the release of the Halo Warbond. Following the arrival of this new Warbond and crossover, a couple of issues have been discovered, and Arrowhead has just released emergency Helldivers 2 update 01.003.303 patch notes, delivering a fix for one of the brand new ODST weapons.

Helldivers 2 update 01.003.303 patch notes

Below are the Helldivers 2 update 01.003.303 patch notes as shared on Discord:

  • Fixed issue where the Halo Warbond could not be purchased if you had unlocked all Warbonds at the point of upgrading to Super Citizen Edition
  • Fixed crash that occurred when multiple helldivers equip the MA5C Assault Rifle on the ship and the host leaves

As you can see from the above, there are only two fixes part of the update, and they both apply to the Halo Warbond. Fortunately, there is another update expected soon, and Arrowhead have confirmed that it will fix the “glow” glitch.

There is no official date for the next update as of writing, but it could possibly land on September 2nd as this is when the next Warbond, Into the Unjust, is coming out, too. This new Warbond is designed to help players with infiltrating the new Hive World.
