Helldivers 2 is now on Xbox Series X/S, so we have extra recruits to help fend off the Illuminate, Automatons, and bugs. While there have been leaks of new Illuminate such as a “sniper and close-range assassin,” a fresh Helldivers 2 leak has shown a terrifying new world that has HD2 players soiling their breaches already, crying “game over, man”.

Helldivers 2 leak shows new world

On X, prominent Helldivers 2 leaker, Iron_S1ghts, has shared an image of what they have referred to as “The Hive World”. In addition to this one image, they have shared another snapshot dubbed “Into The Hive”. You can see the images on Iron_S1ghts’ X, and they also have a YouTube channel where they showcase gameplay leaks.

Unfortunately, both screenshots are very dark so it’s hard to make everything out. Doubly unfortunately, there are no additional details shared by Iron_S1ghts to add context to the images.

While we are lacking context, players are already spooked. Fans are wondering if there will be new enemies part of The Hive World, and one comment said, “It looks like Meridia on steroids”.

There are a few Super Earth soldiers eager to step foot onto the new world so they can start battling, but most comments share the sentiment of dread, similar to Hudson crying like a little b**** in Aliens, “Game over, man, game over”.

Most comments echo the sentiment “we’re cooked” and “dear god”. Players are also fearful over the potential of hive lords.

We don’t know when will be able to explore The Hive World and go into the hive, but hopefully it won’t be too far away.
