Update: Correction, the Helldivers 2 Save the Children campaign is set up by the excellent player guild, Freedom Alliance, with the bidding items donated by Arrowhead to help serve the campaign. As of June 26th, the amount donated by the HD2 community has now reached over $60,000 with a new goal of $65,000, and there’s still two days remaining as the campaign ends on June 28th. Players have smashed the previous goals of $4,311 and $43,110, and they are sure to also smash $65,000 before the campaign ends. You can donate online before the campaign closes.

The Helldivers 2 community is fantastic. It’s one of the friendliest and most approachable online, and the fans really do their best to communicate with players all over the world. Fans shown their excellence during the recent Battle of Super Earth by rallying to defeat the Illuminate as well as teaming-up to reverse review bomb HD2. Now Helldivers 2 players have shined once again by smashing Arrowhead’s Save the Children campaign.

Arrowhead has teamed up with Save the Children for a charity campaign. It began on June 24th and is scheduled to last until June 28th. The original goal was $4,311, and the HD2 community demolished this goal in just minutes.
As of writing, the total contributions right now are over $39,000. Arrowhead’s new goal is $43,110, and it will more than likely be surpassed in a matter of hours.
Per a description of the campaign, “The Freedom Alliance has partnered with Arrowhead to hold a community-wide charity fundraiser, with all proceeds going to Save The Children. The Vernen Wells event in 2024 left a permanent mark on the history of the community; now, we have a chance to come together again and make a difference in the lives of countless children out there”.
You can donate to the campaign online. In addition to supporting children in need, there are some fantastic rewards available to bid on. These rewards include a physical HD2 PS5 copy signed by Arrowhead developers, as well as B-01 Tactical Helmet signed by the Arrowhead crew as well. There’s also a unique PS5 controller with signatures, too, original artworks, and more.
These rewards will go to the highest bidder, and, again, all proceeds and donations go to Save the Children. It’s an excellent cause to serve, and it’s fantastic to see how much the community has donated in just one day with plenty more time remaining.
