Helldivers 2 players that have been waiting on the release of mechs have got some great news coming in, as it looks like the update is right around the corner. With Tien Kwan being liberated, seemingly the last obstacle in the way of their addition has been cleared and we’re excited to finally get the chance to use them.

It all started a few weeks ago with developer Arrowhead Game Studios adding mechs into the game for a select few players. As clips of the mechs spread like wildfire across social media, the hype for this update was incredible.

And earlier in the week it looked like we were finally about to get what we were hoping for. A propaganda poster posted across social media showed that the EXO-45 Patriot Exosuit was nearing deployment, being produced in a factory on the planet Tien Kwan.

But just as soon as they were confirmed, a new announcement replaced it stating that Tien Kwan was under attack, and that the rollout had been delayed until the planet was liberated, sparking players to rally to aid the planet and secure the mechs.

And with Tien Kwan finally free, we can only expect that the mechs are just about to drop. From start to finish, this has been an incredible ride, and a testament to the incredible planning and marketing that the Helldivers 2 team have been pulling off so far.

Hopefully, this is just the start, and the future of the game has plenty more creative and engaging ways to deliver new content to the players. As for when the mechs are going to arrive, we think it seems logical that they’ll come along with the next Warbond, which itself is fast approaching.
