Helldivers 2 is currently going through a rough patch following community backlash to the Escalation of Freedom update. Since then, Arrowhead has been hard at work trying to rectify these issues, with their latest plan revolving around a 60-day roadmap which aims to have the game in a great state by the end of it.
The Helldivers 2 Community Manager Baskinator took to the official Discord server to give players an update on the 60-day roadmap and when to expect some major news regarding the next patch.
“Greetings Helldivers! A message here from Arrowhead HQ. We know some of you are expecting an update today to the game. As you all know we’re working tirelessly on our 60-day commitment plan. In order to do this, we are changing up the frequency of our updates during this period.
On Thursday of this week, we will be releasing a new blog which details our progress so far, the fixes we have worked on, and the date for the delivery of these updates. This will give you all the information you need and our deadline for our first delivery under the plan. Thank you, Team Arrowhead ”
It is great to see Arrowhead acknowledge what they are currently working on, and keep Helldivers 2 players in the loop. It also looks like the next update won’t be too far away, which is said to be focused on weapon buffs and will shake up the meta according to CCO Pilestedt.
