Helldivers 2 fans have a lot to anticipate for the future. Leaks have revealed even more powerful Illuminate ready to join the battlefield, and leaks have also shown a work-in-progress for the New Cyberstan where we may eventually wage war. HD2 fans also have less than a month to wait for the next Warbond, and Arrowhead’s community manager has said they are “super excited” about the next Helldivers 2 Warbond in response to fans clamouring for an SEAF bundle.
Helldivers 2 dev is “super excited” about next Warbond
On Discord, Helldivers 2 community manager, Baskinator, has slightly hyped the next Warbond for HD2. A user asked the community manager, “could we get a hint on the next upcoming warbond theme?”. Baskinator responded, “My lips are sealed, but I can tell you it’s a good one. I’m super excited about it”.
Another user asked, “Would a SEAF warbond actually be something that could work in hd2?”. While not confirming or denying anything, Baskinator said “It could probably work, because I think our MoD team can do anything”. The community manager elaborated, “I didn’t understand how some of our previous warbonds would work and then they’d show us the item concepts and suddenly the theme is theming”.
Since joining the Battle of Super Earth, Helldivers 2 fans have really embraced the SEAF. On Reddit, there has been a lot of posts dedicated to requesting an SEAF Warbond from Arrowhead in the future. Ideas from the community include blue-and-white armor to dress up like the SEAF, as well as a stratagem that would allow us to call in the boys in blue to aid in battles.
There’s no official release date for the next Warbond, but it should release by the end of July. The latest Warbond, Force of Law, came out on June 12th. Arrowhead usually stick to a six weeks schedule for Warbonds, which means the next bundle will likely arrive on July 24th. However, some Warbonds have taken seven weeks in the past, so we’d expect either July 24th or July 31st.
