NCsoft has announced that two of its MMOs are celebrating birthdays. City of Heroes turns seven years old, with players having earned more than 15 billion experience points. Starting today NCsoft is running numerous promotions, including a free-play week from May 3 to May 10.

NCsoft and ArenaNet are celebrating Guild Wars’ sixth birthday by releasing an update that includes new high resolution texture in towns, hard mode quests, birthday tonics and a mutual friends list. Festivities and contests will also be run through to June 9 on Facebook and the official Guild Wars website.
