Ever since Rockstar Games released its first GTA 6 trailer last December, the vaunted studio has remained tight-lipped on its upcoming open-world RPG. Predictably enough, fans are chomping at the bit for more news following that exciting first look at the game’s dual protagonists and kooky Florida-like locale. But with official details unlikely to come anytime soon, some have begun dissecting every significant scene from the announcement trailer to pass the time.
And by every significant scene, we mean almost every scene in the trailer. Over on Reddit, some users have begun a weekly ritual called Frame Friday, where a group of people get together to “discuss, analyze, and speculate” about one or two specific clips. It’s like a book club, but solely for this one GTA 6 teaser. For this week’s Frame Friday #38 (yes, it’s been going on for a long time), the topic of discussion is the rowdy group of motorcycle and ATV riders that appeared towards the latter part of the announcement trailer (at the 1:05-1:06 mark, to be exact).
There really isn’t much to discuss there since, well, it’s a group of people on motorcycles and ATVs that you could probably see yourself if you visit a backwoods town in Florida. However, user theamericangarrett, “a native South Floridian,” did note that Rockstar “nailed the perspective from the ground looking up at the sky.” So, at the very least, you can probably expect a realistic depiction of southern suburbia once you hop into the game.
Unfortunately, since the trailer is only one minute and thirty seconds long (one minute and eighteen if you take away the static end image), Frame Friday may be ending soon. And with Rockstar keeping mum on the game’s development and release date, the GTA community may have to go back to playing GTA 5 Online in the meantime.
