This year will see the release of some very big titles, but none will be bigger than GTA 5 according to EEDAR’s Jesse Divnich.
“It goes without saying that GTA V will be one of the year’s biggest releases, but I will take it one step farther and say GTA V will be 2012’s biggest release,” Divnich told Industry Gamers.
“Don’t get me wrong, Call of Duty will undoubtedly be huge, as it is every year and it may even grow, but if I had to call what will be a photo finish race, I will go with GTA V,” he added.
GTA 5 still doesn’t have a firm release date and the next Call of Duty hasn’t even been announced yet.
Will GTA 5 outsell the next Call of Duty? It’ll be a big selling title, but I don’t think it’ll match the next CoD.
