PlayStation has announced it’s holding a new State of Play broadcast centred around the upcoming Gran Turismo 7 this Wednesday.

The PlayStation Blog promises us the event will include 30 minutes of new footage during the broadcast. It’ll include an in-depth look at the modes and the all-important gameplay features of the long-running series. Expect more of the 420 strong car roster and the those 90 track routes too.

The State of Play will mark just shy of a month before the release of the racing simulator’s latest offering. So far, we’ve seen plenty of returning favourites getting a delicious 4K upgrade. These include the Deep Forest Raceway that’s appeared in every Gran Turismo since the first, and the iconic Daytona International Speedway too.

Gran Turismo 7 fans will definitely want to tune in to this State of Play, so check the official PlayStation YouTube and Twitch channels at 10pm UK time on Wednesday, Feb 2. We’ll of course round up the pertinent info and the recording first thing the next morning, so come back for that. Until then, check out a cheeky little Find Your Line trailer down below.

You’ll be able to get behind the driving seat yourself when Gran Turismo 7 launches on March 4, 2022 for PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4.
