Gran Turismo 7 release date confirmed for March 4 on PlayStation 5 and PS4

Gran Turismo 7 has been confirmed for a March 4 release date during the PlayStation Showcase by developer Polyphony Digital.

The latest iteration in the long running series aims to bring the “best of the Gran Turismo experiences” from over the series. To that end, GT Campaign returns, complete with GT World Map. The Livery Editor will also be coming back from GT Sport. A dedicated photo mode called Scapes promises a spectacular number of options to get the perfect shot of your cars.

Legendary circuits will also make their return, including Trial Mountain and High-Speed Ring. Naturally, PlayStation 5 owners will be able to enjoy these tracks in a higher detail than ever before. The team are also saying car collecting will be a big deal in the new game. The GT Cafe will keep track of your adventures and give you a place to show off your collection. The GT Cafe will also offer missions where you can acquire prize cars.

GT Auto returns to help you tune your rides to peak performance. You’ll be able to tweak wheel changes, wide body mods, add roll cages and so much more besides. Finally, the PlayStation Blog details how the team took a massive amount of meteorological data to recreate weather as it changes to a spectacular degree.

You can check out the new trailer for yourself below. Gran Turismo 7 is set for a release date of March 4 on PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. And if you missed it, an upgrade from the PS4 version to PS5 will cost you around $10.
