Sony has announced that God of War will be released worldwide on April 20, and will be available in three flavours: The Collector’s Edition, Limited Edition, and Digital Deluxe Edition.
Those of you who pre-order any version of the gory father/son bonding simulator will be able to snap up three legendary shield skins, while select retailers across Europe will be rolling out the Luck of Ages XP Boost (this influences health gain, Hacksilver gain, and the ability to trigger Perks).
Meanwhile, the Collector’s Edition features a nine-inch statue of Kratos and son made by Gentle Giant, alongside a cloth map, steelbook case, Huldra Brothers carvings, and exclusive lithograph.
On the other hand, you can plump for the Limited Edition, which features a copy of the game in a steelbook case, a God of War Dark Horse art book, a PS4 theme, plus some in-game digital goodies.
Finally, the Digital Deluxe Edition of Kratos’ next blood-curdling outing includes a full game download of God of War, a Dark Horse digital comic and art book, dynamic theme, and the Death’s Vow Armor pack and Exile Guardian Shield in-game content.
