In what is frankly a surprising turnout, Ubisoft’s Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands has returned to take the top spot in the UK games chart. This is its third week at number one, though not consecutively. Its first two weeks came following its release last month

Persona 5, which entered at number one last week, has dropped completely off the top 40. Yooka-Laylee is the only new entry to the top 10, coming in at number six.

LEGO Worlds and Grand Theft Auto V have both moved up a spot, to take second and third respectively. GTAV will always be in the charts. It will never not be in the charts. We are in a Groundhog Day of the charts, and GTAV is Phil Connors.

Overwatch has jumped from tenth up to number four, possibly due to the new in-game event that’s just started.

Mass Effect: Andromeda, meanwhile, has dropped out of the top 10, falling from number five down to 12.

Here’s the full top ten for your perusal:

  1. Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Wildlands
  2. LEGO Worlds
  3. Grand Theft Auto V
  4. Overwatch
  5. FIFA 17
  6. Yooka-Laylee

  9. The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild
  10. LEGO City Undercover
