The Genshin Impact 4.7 release date is still a ways off, with no official confirmation from HoYoverse about when it will be. With that said, Genshin follows a predictable schedule and we can surmise that the release date for patch 4.7 will fall in June. With plenty of leaks to point to, here is all the information we have about Genshin Impact 4.7, including confirmed characters, events, Archon quests, and changes coming in the latest update.

Genshin Impact 4.7 release date speculation

By our estimation, Genshin Impact 4.7 is going to be released on Wednesday, June 5 2024. We are estimating this date because Genshin Impact patches typically last for six weeks, giving each update about a month. At the moment, we are nearly halfway through patch 4.6. This release date of June 5 is further backed up by Genshin Impact updates going live on Wednesdays, usually around 4/5am GMT. As ever, there will be maintenance time before the release.

Genshin Impact 4.7 live stream

Every month HoYoverse hosts a special livestream to show off the upcoming banners, events, and quests coming in the next update. As it stands, HoYoverse has yet to announce a 4.7 livestream, but we can probably expect it later in May. Naturally, everyone looks forward to the livestream because we get 300 Primogems in the form of Genshin Impact promo codes.

Genshin Impact 4.7 character banners

The confirmed characters for Genshin Impact 4.7 are Clorinde, Sethos, and Sigewinne, two of which are 5-stars. As per the drip marketing from HoYoverse on social media, we know that three new characters are going to make an appearance in Genshin Impact 4.7. Clorinde, Sethos, and Sigewinne were all teased on April 22, which means it is highly likely they will all be featured on the 4.7 banners in some way. It appears that Sethos is a new four-star, while Clorinde and Siegewinne are both five-star characters. In terms of the first half and second half banners, we don’t know how they will be released. In terms of re-run banners, we might see Furina’s rerun happen again after she made her debut in 4.2.

Clorinde

• Electro Vision

Clorinde is a five-star Electro character we’ve seen since patch 4.0. She is a Champion Duelist of Fontaine, and we’ve seen from her splash art (and from some Clorinde leaks) that she uses a pistol and a sword in combat. Arguably one of the more stylish-looking characters, HoYoverse really nailed her duelist design, complete with a wonderful feathered cap. Naturally, we can also expect the signature weapon for Clorinde and Sigewinne to appear on the Weapon Banners alongside the Clorinde Banner.

Sethos

• Electro Vision

Sethos is thought to be a four-star character who uses a bow. From what we’ve seen, Sethos holds an Electro vision, but we don’t know much else about him other than this and what we saw in Cyno’s latest story quest in 4.6. Typically new four-star characters are featured on the second phase banner, which could be the case here for Sethos in 4.7.

Sigewinne

• Hydro Vision

We all remember the Melusine, Sigewinne, the resident healer in the Fortress of Meropide. Sigewinne is seemingly the right-hand of Wriothesley, helping him keep order in the fortress as the head nurse. Sigewinne leaks suggest she will be a five-star Hydro character, but we don’t know what weapon she will use. Reliable Genshin Impact leaks seem to suggest that she will be a hybrid healer and DPS.

Genshin Impact 4.7 leaks

There are plenty of Genshin 4.7 leaks swimming around out there a the moment, especially on TikTok and other social media. It appears there are leaks because the Genshin Impact 4.7 test server is currently playable by a select few. In the leaks, we can see full gameplay of Clorinde and a look at Sigewinne, the latter of which appears to use a gun as her weapon. As of writing, we haven’t seen any gameplay of Sigewinne, which could indicate that she is part of the second-phase banner in 4.7.

Clorinde kit leaks

According to a post on Reddit, Genshin Impact leaker Foul has shared what could be Clorinde’s full kit. This information includes her Elemental Skill, Talents, Constellations, and her Burst. If the leaks are true, Clorinde’s abilities will feature a Life Link effect, which is similar to how Arlecchino’s abilities work in the current patch. Keep in mind that this is a leak and could be subject to change when she is released in patch 4.7.

New Spiral Abyss in 4.7

Several leaks and rumours are suggesting that there will be a change to the Spiral Abyss in Genshin Impact 4.7. This dungeon serves as an end-game mode of sorts, letting you test your characters against some of the strongest and highest-level enemies in the game. Spiral Abyss resets each patch, offering you Primogems as a reward for clearing each floor.

One leak suggests that there will be an increased Primogem reward in 4.7, upping the total number from 600 to 800 for clearing the whole thing. Another leak seems to suggest there will be either a new mode within Spiral Abyss or something similar to it that offers a new challenge. According to the leaks, this new mode will only allow you to play as characters of a specific Vision, severely limiting who you can use.
