Gears of War: Judgment creative director leaves People Can Fly

Gears of War: Judgment’s creative director, Adrian Chmielarz, has left development studio People Can Fly according to a statement by Epic president Mike Capps.

“Adrian Chmielarz, Andrzej Poznanski and Michal Kosieradzki have parted ways with People Can Fly and Epic Games in order to pursue other opportunities, which they will announce of their own accord,” said Capps.

“Over the past decade, they have been instrumental in building People Can Fly into the talented team that it is today. We wish them well in their future endeavours. People Can Fly remains excited to release Gears of War: Judgment to fans early next year.”

Gears of War fans worried about how these departures will affect Gears of War: Judgment needn’t panic. Chmielarz used Twitter to reassure fans.

“Gears fans, you’re going to love Judgment. It’s in great hands. And don’t worry, you’ll hear about my plans soon enough,” he said.

Gears of War: Judgment is due for release on Xbox 360 on March 19, 2013.
