Warhammer 40,000 is having its best year ever following the record-breaking sales of Saber Interactive’s video game Space Marine 2.

In a secret celebration of the game, Games Workshop is including its hardened protagonist Lieutenant Titus with the newest release of the Warhammer 40,000 Character Encylopedia.

GW bundles Titus with new 40K book

The upcoming release of the new Warhammer book is a bit different from last encyclopaedias released by Games Workshop. This time, GW is including a free miniature hero with the £22/$28 encyclopaedia of Lieutenant Titus.

Revealed by GamesRadar, the included miniature is a push-fit model of the video game hero that simply needs a pair of clippers to separate the pieces. To put the sheer value of his inclusion into perspective, the miniature of Lieutenant Titus on his own typically costs £20 on his lonesome.

The new Warhammer 40,000 Character Encyclopaedia is designed for newcomers and existing fans alike. With this in mind, the inclusion of Titus as a free miniature makes a lot of sense.

As the biggest 40K release of all time, many newcomers have been introduced to the tabletop series via Space Marine 2. The game’s massive release not only caused a massive influx in IRL Warhammer Store customers, but has even caused other 40K games to skyrocket in sales

The release of Space Marine 2 has been huge, although it’s also led to disappointing launches like the release of SEGA’s botched remaster of the original game. With Games Workshop actively looking for another success of this level, and a Space Marine 3 already in the works, there’s never been a better time to be a Warhammer fan. Well, a Warhammer 40K fan.
