Eidos has announced the upcoming release of the Kane & Lynch: Dead Men ‘The Dope Bag’ map pack. Released for free on Xbox LIVE Marketplace and PSN on April 17, the four maps will extend the game’s Fragile Alliance multiplayer mode.

According to Eidos each of the maps will have its own unique scenario. Clean Cut will see you taking on the dope dealers and Russian Mafia at an LA construction site, Hooker’s Trail is built around a clash with the Yakuza in Tokyo, Flying High features a raid on a drug baron’s mansion in a Venezuelan jungle, and Hasta La Vista centres on an ambush of General Fuentes’ military convoy in the streets of Havana.

“With Fragile Alliance we set out to offer gamers a new experience in co-op multiplayer, giving players the choice to work as a team or backstab their teammates and work for themselves at any moment,” said Kim Krogh, Lead Game Designer, IO Interactive. “The response to Fragile Alliance has been fantastic and these new maps will serve to grow the Fragile Alliance online community even further.”

We found Kane & Lynch’s Fragile Alliance multiplayer mode to be good fun when we reviewed the game last year, and fans can’t argue about new maps being released for free. Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 owners can get the maps from April 17.
