Epic Games has introduced a permanent ‘Zero Build’ option to battle royale shooter Fortnite.

The move follows the limited time removal of building from the default mode at the start of Chapter 3, Season 2. Players now have the option to drop into a default game, or use the Discover page to play in Duos, Trios and Squads playlists with no building. Instead of constructing cover, players will have to rely on existing scenery in the world. They will have a recharging overshield, and can use mantling and Ascenders.

Today’s update also sees a new weapon added to the battle royale shooter. The Anvil Rocket Launcher allows players to lock on and fire on any vehicle giving them grief. So long as they can find one in regular and Rare chests, in supply drops, in Seven Supply and IO Chests and… sharks. (Or so it says here.)

The news comes as Epic Games has also confirmed that Fortnite players have now raised over $70 million USD in aid relief for those effected by the war in Ukraine. That’s $20 million more USD as of March 25 following the last update just two days previously. All proceeds from the game will continue to be donated until this Sunday, April 3.
