Leveling up in Fortnite has just become much easier thanks to a new XP buff! Epic Games activated it on Friday, boosting XP rates in every single mode. Considering that the season ends in approximately two weeks, this is a perfect opportunity for players to catch up and complete the Battle Pass.
The boost will be active over the weekend, which is more than enough time for players to level up. However, it is important to note that the XP buff only affects in-game actions. It provides no additional XP for completing challenges, but fortunately, it’s active in every single mode.
How to use XP buff in Fortnite?
The XP buff has been automatically activated in the game. Players can take advantage of it by playing any game mode, from Battle Royale to Delulu. On top of this, the XP buff affects non-Battle Royale experiences, such as Fortnite: Save the World, as well as creator-made islands.
Epic Games usually enables this boost over the weekend, so the current one will expire on Monday at 9 AM Eastern Time. However, it’s important to note that the boost is limited to a few levels. After this, the XP rates will go back to normal.
The current Fortnite season is set to end with the conclusion of the Fortnitemares event on November 1. Due to this, the current Battle Pass will only be active for approximately two more weeks.
Interestingly, one of the free Fortnite skins is included in the current seasonal pass. By reaching level 100 in Chapter 6 – Season 4, players can unlock the UNSC Spartan skin. Since the skin will expire soon, the latest XP buff offers players a perfect opportunity to unlock it.
